Event management - General sub-tab
After filling in the basic information on the welcome page, you are taken to the admin editing interface in Backstage, also known as the Virtual venue builder/designer, which you can navigate via the tabs on the left menu.
Here you will see the Event Tab where you can customize the:
- General event settings (General sub-tab)
- Event features (Features sub-tab)
- Event menu options visibility to your audience (Menu sub-tab)
Click the Event tab and navigate to the General sub-tab, where you can customize your general event settings which include web domain, location and date and time of your event.
Additionally, in the Features sub-tab you can include supported languages that your audience can choose and visibility of various usability elements on the homepage such as login, registration button, partner or presenter lists and access to Laia, our virtual assistant to augment support.
Finally in the Menu sub tab you can customize the visibility and order of left menu items seen by your audience. This is how you manage access and visibility of event elements based on audience type. You customize how anonymous and logged in users interact with the virtual venue platform by toggling on or off various functions such as presenters, agenda, feedback or social screens to name a few. You can reorder menu elements by simply dragging and moving them into the position that best suits your preferences.
